Access to consortia dossiers - Letters of Access (LOA)

Many companies are asking us about participation to the joint submission and Letters of Access to the REACH registration dossiers prepared by consortia under the management of ReachCentrum. Upon payment, SIEF members will soon be able to be granted LOA on ReachCentrum's website.

ReachCentrum will soon be issuing Letters of Access on behalf of its consortia, so that SIEF members who are not members of consortia can acquire the necessary access rights to the REACH registration dossiers and also be able to participate in the joint submission of the dossiers.

SIEF members purchasing a Letter of Access will usually get access to :

  • the Joint Registration Dossier
    • the studies and data included in the Joint Registration Dossier
    • the Chemical Safety Assessment (CSA), Chemical Safety Report (CSR) and Guidance on Safe Use when they are part of the Joint Registration Dossier.

We are currently developing a system that will automate the buying of consortium dossier via the relevant legal commitment (e.g. SIEF agreement) and corresponding delivery of Letters of Access. Companies will be able to choose the Letter of Access they need in order to get access to the registration dossier. Our LOA module will enable online payment, will create and send invoices to the purchasers and after the payment has been received, will finally send the Letter of Access and the token.

The cost of a Letter of Access share per registrant will depend on the relevant volume band as well as on the number of registrants per volume band. It will be fixed by each consortium in a fair, non-discriminatory and transparent way.

Further information on how to get the Letters of Access will soon be published on our website. For more questions, please contact your Consortium Manager or
