Substance Identity Profile (SIP)
Testing Proposals
Please find here the list of studies that are referred to in the proposed IUCLID5 dossier submission. Please note that this list is subject to changes as new information becomes available.
Classification and Labelling
According to EU Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC, and CLP-Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 it will be proposed that this product does not require labelling with symbols and/or R-phrases.
List of Supported Uses
A list of supported and unsupported uses of melamine is to be supplied. At present, because melamine will not be classified as hazardous, the Chemical Sfaety Report (CSR) will conclude after the hazard assessment. No exposure assessments will be needed or performed. Nevertheless, a list of proposed Use Scenarios can be found here. Additional supported uses can be added - but please see if you can fit with the proposal first!
The final CSR will not be jointly submitted, however all Joint Registrants will receive a core CSR that they can modify as needed before adding to their own registrations. This is to ensure needed flexibility for companies to manage their own CSRs.
